While God has many attributes that are beyond our comprehension — He is infinite, self-existent, unchanging, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present — what stands out most is His relatability. Despite being the eternal, all-sufficient Creator of everything, God chose to come to us in the most humble way, born in a manger. Through Jesus, He shows us that He understands us, our lives, and our struggles.

This weekend, as a church, we had the opportunity to look back on everything God has done through your generosity in 2024 and to sow into 2025. At Lakeside, we’re committed to loving people through year-round outreach.
100 years from now, your possessions will be gone, but the impact you make can last forever. Make your life count by giving intentionally and making a difference now — "Do your giving while you're living."
God has brought us together for a Kingdom purpose, and time is short. Acceleration is key. At Lakeside, our annual Legacy Offering in December is designed to accelerate the vision of God's house.

The goal of the spiritually mature Christian is godliness — becoming more like God's nature and character, or "Christlikeness." It’s not about being a better version of yourself, but becoming more like Jesus. Godliness is a personal attitude toward God, expressed through actions that please Him — this is our devotion to God. As Christians, devotion isn’t just an activity; it’s an attitude rooted in three essential elements: The love of God, the fear of God, and the desire for God.
