If you’ve been feeling exhausted, anxious, or stuck, this message is for you. Many of us love Jesus, yet still live overwhelmed because we’re carrying burdens we were never meant to hold. In this sermon, we discover that peace doesn’t come from trying harder, but from aligning our lives under God’s authority. Rooted in Matthew 28:18–20, we’re reminded that Jesus has all authority and nothing in our lives outranks Him. From anxiety and fear to parenting pressures, uncertainty, and spiritual fatigue, alignment shifts us from self-dependence to surrender, from fear to faith. This message calls us to realignment, deeper submission, and obedient trust, showing us that God’s authority isn’t just for protection, it’s for purpose. When we submit to God, resist the enemy, and speak His truth, we don’t just survive, we walk forward in the authority Jesus has already given us.

An important reminder for us that as we begin this new year and especially during 21 Days of Prayer, there is nothing more important than aligning our lives with God’s will, Word, and purpose before rushing into what we want to do for Him; through Isaiah’s powerful encounter with the Lord in Isaiah 6, we see that calling flows from alignment, formation, and then assignment, and that God is far more concerned with who we are becoming than what we are accomplishing because when we slow down, seek Him first, and allow Him to form our character, He will be the One who sends us into our next season with His power and presence.

As we begin a brand-new year, we’re launching a new series called Divine Alignment, starting with a powerful message reminding us the most important thing you can do at the start of 2026 is get in alignment with God. Rooted in Psalm 37, this message reminds us that while we may stumble, we don’t fall, because the Lord directs the steps of the godly and holds us by the hand. We declare that 2026 is the year of alignment, alignment with God’s heart, His Word, His people, and His vision for your life and in this message, you’ll hear a clear call to live with purpose, walk in agreement with God, and get into position for a great year ahead.

This message reminds us that stepping into a new year isn’t about bigger goals or stronger resolutions, it’s about faithfulness in the small, daily moments. Drawing from Luke 16 and John 15, we’re challenged to see that real spiritual growth isn’t built on intensity, but on consistency. If 2026 is going to be a year of true growth, alignment, and closeness with God, it will be built on a simple but powerful choice: your Daily Yes. Join us as we reflect on God’s faithfulness, release the pressure of perfection, and discover how daily dependence on Jesus leads to lasting change.

Today we continue The Sound of Christmas series by unpacking the powerful meaning behind the classic song “Go Tell It on the Mountain” and discovering the biblical truth it proclaims. Rooted in the testimonies of enslaved believers in 19th-century America, this song carries a timeless message of hope in Jesus that was passed down through stories and songs, not textbooks. In Luke 2:15–20, we see the shepherds’ response to the good news of Christ’s birth, after encountering Jesus, they couldn’t keep it to themselves and went to tell everyone. In this message, “The Right Response,” we’re reminded that Christmas is not about temporary gifts, but about the eternal gift of salvation, and that encountering Jesus should compel us to boldly share the hope we have in Him with the world.

“O Come, All Ye Faithful” is more than a Christmas song, it’s an invitation and a response. After celebrating the First Noel and the God who came close to us, this message calls us to come close to Him in return, just as the shepherds and wise men did. We’re reminded that God is faithful by nature, He keeps His promises even when we fall short, and His faithfulness spans generations. This Christmas, we’re invited not just to sing about faithfulness, but to live it, saying yes to God again and again through worship, consistency, and a forward-looking faith that trusts what He will do next.

We sing songs all the time without knowing their meaning, like dancing to the Macarena oblivious to its lyrics, or singing Jingle Bells even though it was written for Thanksgiving! This week, we dive into the true meaning behind The First Noel, a proclamation of Christ’s birth, joy, and salvation.
 
From the 4,000-year promise in Genesis 3:15 to the angel’s announcement in Luke 2, we explore how the First Noel declares Good News, brings Great Joy, and reminds us that God’s promises are always fulfilled. Join us as we celebrate the Savior, the Good Shepherd, and the ultimate gift of Christmas.

Dive into the universal battle of shame, how we hide, distance ourselves from God and others. How we let our past or pain convince us we’re unworthy, yet Jesus steps right into those places to cover, heal, and free us. Through honest storytelling, raw moments from a breakout on redeeming purity, and the truth of Scripture, we unpack how shame isolates, how it distorts our identity, and how Christ shatters its grip when we choose to stop hiding and run to the Father. We're diving into a gratitude that goes deeper than feelings, a gratitude rooted in Jesus. After hearing a young woman’s story that completely shifted the way she sees her life, we were reminded of what Paul teaches in 1 Thessalonians: gratitude isn’t seasonal or optional. It’s God’s will for us. It begins at the cross, where Jesus has already given us everything we need. When we understand that, we can rejoice always, pray continually, and trust God even when life feels heavy or uncertain.
 
We look at how Paul and Silas worshiped in their chains, how Jesus gave thanks before suffering, and how gratitude anchors our hearts when life feels ordinary or overwhelming. Gratitude opens our eyes, strengthens our faith, and becomes a witness to those watching our lives. This episode will encourage you to slow down, pay attention, and remember that because Jesus is enough, there’s always a reason to give thanks.

In this message, we're reminded that sometimes the move you didn’t ask for isn’t discipline, it’s divine. God is making room for you. And God is making room for His house at Lakeside. From living rooms to schools to campuses across Central Florida, the story of Lakeside is a story of God expanding, providing, and positioning His church for more. We speak by faith that land, property, and permanent locations are on the way in Jesus’ name.
 
Don’t limit the move of God to a location, a preference, or a screen. His Spirit is moving across every campus, right where you are ,and He knows exactly how to get a word to you at the right time. Everything good in our lives is not just the result of our effort… we had help. God has been ordering your steps, setting the route, and throwing the word right where you’d be.
